Welcome to the St Andrew’s family! We are excited to know your child and work with you as he starts his journey in our community. We hope that your child will enjoy learning Chinese and develop confidence in using the language. Here is a summary of your child will need to use during his Mother Tongue lessons.

4. P1 Holistic Assessment for Chinese Language

5. Daily Routines

1.    We believe your child can experience success when he understands he owns his learning and he can plan his time well so that he can excel in work and play. Please guide him to plan his daily timetable and slot in the following activities in particular, in the timeslots both of you feel comfortable with:

(i)	查看记事本(Personal Organizer or PO)	Checking of personal journal with teacher/ guardian/boarding house	1 minute per day, Monday to Friday.
(ii)	看华文故事书	Reading of Chinese books	Approximately 10 minutes per day or 30 minutes per week.
(iii)	复习／做功课	Revise Chinese work/ Do Chinese homework	20- 30 minutes per day.
